Development log for Ultreia. We're now in beta! You're cordially invited to kick the tires of this app, as much as you'd like. Your content will not be lost as we add more features and spray the bugs with borax. v1.0-beta6.5 - Survey Tools

• Data survey now has distinct URLs: /survey/completeness, /survey/leaf-and-shell, /survey/camping
• Simplified completeness checks to focus on what matters: price, contact info, and bed count
• Switching survey modes updates the URL so you can bookmark or share a specific tool

• Map tiles now served through our own proxy for better privacy and reliability
• Tiles are cached server-side, so frequently visited areas load faster for everyone
• Improved offline tile support with smarter fallback to lower zoom levels

• Search for any town, village, or city along all 7 Camino routes
• 1200+ places now in the database across Francés, Norte, Primitivo, Portugués, Inglés, Invierno, and Fisterra
• Search results show which routes each town is on (e.g. "Melide" shows "Camino Francés, Camino Primitivo")
• Tap a result to fly to that location on the map
• Falls back to general map search when no Camino towns match

• Cleaner, borderless map markers throughout
• Albergue markers now show proper bunkbed icon (matches layer bar)
• POI markers enlarged to 32x32 for better visibility
• Leaf & Shell places now dark green with white icons (easier to spot on map)
• Updated help legend to reflect new marker styles

Ultreia.me is the product of hundreds of volunteer hours in programming, data collection, and design. No AI is being used (vibe coding), just pure human pilgrim brain power.
